CHILD PROTECTION PROGRAMME
Ensuring the safety and well-being of children is of utmost importance in cultivating a secure and thriving school community. To fulfil this commitment, KIS has appointed dedicated Child Protection Officers (CPOs) and additional responders who form the Child Protection Team. Every member of staff and the KIS community bears the responsibility to uphold child protection practices to the best of their abilities and understanding.
KIS remains vigilant in monitoring and enhancing these practices to guarantee that each student is afforded a nurturing, secure, and supportive environment for their growth and education.

We are proud members of the Global Safeguarding Collaborative (GSC), a network committed to promoting the highest standards of safety, well-being, and child protection across international schools worldwide.
Membership in the GSC reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for every member of our school community. Through this partnership, we have access to expert-led training, best-practice frameworks, and up-to-date research on safeguarding and wellbeing. The GSC also provides opportunities for our staff to engage with a global network of safeguarding specialists and peer schools who share the same priorities and challenges.
By working collaboratively with the GSC, we can continuously review and strengthen our safeguarding systems, enrich professional learning, and cultivate a community-wide culture where safety, respect, and wellbeing are understood, valued, and upheld by all.
