Kindergarten curriculum is designed based on the 6 Life
Spheres of the 6th Kindergarten under the Ministry of
Education of the Republic of Korea. In order to have
the same standard as other international schools, KIS
provides children with special activities under a strengthened
curriculum which includes foreign languages and computer
skills.
Total number of classes is 200 days, including summer
and winter school.
(8hrs/day, 5days/week, 40 weeks/year, 1st semester –
16 weeks, 2nd semester 24 weeks)
6 Life Spheres of the 6th Kindergarten Syllabus
1. Language Life Sphere
By the end of the Kindergarten program and through
story telling, fairy tales, poems, theatre performances
and language lessons, children will:

to daily life |

2. Express Life Sphere
By the end of the Kindergarten program and through
various activities, songs, arts, body language and role-play,
children will:

express feelings and think creatively through
a variety of realities and phenomenon |
3. Social Life Sphere
By the end of the Kindergarten program, children will:

through make up activities, logical thinking,
classification, definition of numbers, time and
space |

through imagination and creativity |
4. Social Life Sphere
By the end of the Kindergarten program, children will:

By the end of the Kindergarten program and through
athletic games, indoor and outdoor games, children will:

By the end of the Kindergarten program, through experiments,
practical exercises, and observations, children will:
