WAH KEE BUS SERVICES COMPANY LIMITED (hereinafter called “Wah Kee”) will be responsible for providing the school bus service of the academic year of 2011-2012 for students of Korean International School. For students who wish to take the service, please note the details of the service as follows:

REGISTRATION

All students who wish to take the school bus in the said academic year shall register on or before 7th July 2011, by completing the registration form attached to this leaflet and then submit the form together with the 1st term school bus fee to Wah Kee, at no later than the said deadline. Any late registration may lead tounavailability to take the bus service, and Wah Kee has no responsibility to secure the seats for those studentswith late registration.
Notifications will be made to the registered students approximately 1 week before the new school year started, and bus cards will be distributed to the registered students within the 1st week after the commencement of the bus service. Students will not be allowed to ride on the school buses if they fail to present the bus card to the bus mother upon boarding the school bus.

SCHOOL BUS ROUTES

School bus routes will be finalized after most of the registrations are received, and then the parents and the students will be informed of the finalized routings by phone and by email, approximately 1 week before the school year starts. In all cases, the school buses will arrive the school at no later than 8:05 a.m. and will depart from the school at about 3:10 p.m. (except for Wednesday at 4:10 p.m. during extra-curricular activities).

Wah Kee reserves the right to revise the school bus routes, from time to time to suit the actual registration and traffic conditions. Moreover, in case of insufficient applicants, the relevant bus routes may be deleted, and parents will be informed accordingly.

PAYMENT

Payment shall be made by cheque payable to “Wah Kee Bus Services Company Limited”, in three terms, as follows:

Payment can be made for the school bus service of either single trip or return trip. Please refer to the section “School Bus Fees” for the fee of return trip, and note that single trip is allowed upon request with 80% of the return trip’s school bus fee.

Students who do not attend the whole term of school bus service shall also pay for the bus fee whole term. The payment for the 1st term shall be made by cheque payable to “WAH KEE BUS SERVICES COMPANY LIMITED” and mail to Wah Kee via address P.O. Box No. 44229, Shau Kei Wan Post Office, Hong Kong, on or before 7th July 2011. For payment for the 2nd and 3rd term, please submit the bus fees to the bus mothers on or before the above deadlines.

Please be reminded that all payments made to Wah Kee are non-refundable. No paid fees shall be
refunded for any reasons after the service has started, including that the student is going to withdraw
from the school.

SCHOOL BUS FEES

The schedule of bus fees for return trip are listed as follows:

* Bus fee to be collected on 5-month basis (i.e. two payments to be made per year) and no refund shall be made upon payment is received and the services have started.

For 2011-2012 bus routings and pick-up/drop-off times, please refer to last page of this leaflet.

Single trip is allowed upon request with 80% of the return trip’s school bus fee. Non-school bus riders
who wish to take the school bus for visiting friends or when parents are away, etc., are allowed by paying
HK$50.00 per single journey for HK Island and HK$100.00 per single journey for Kowloon area,
subject to the seat availability. Please note that this service is not for permanent usage, and parents must inform Wah Kee in advance every time.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The services will only include the morning trip arriving the school at 8:05 a.m. and the afternoon trip
leaving the school at 3:10 p.m. during normal school days. For school days where there are
extra-curricular activities on Wednesday, Wah Kee will only provide the bus services for leaving the
school at 4:10 p.m. Students who would like to arrive/leave the school apart from the above time frames,they will need to make their own arrangement at their own cost.

2. According to past years’ experience, kindergarten/reception students did not need to attend the
extra-curricular activities on Wednesday. As such, they would need to stay at school and wait for the
buses departing at 4:10p.m. if they need the bus service.

3. During some special events, the school may order early release for some of the students. At such case Wah Kee may adjust the leaving time of the buses to suit the majority of students who using the bus services. The remaining students will need to make their own arrangement at their own cost.

4. The secondary school’s students shall pay attention to that during examinations they may not need to
arrive or leave the schools as per the time frames specified in (1). At such case, NO school bus service
will be provided to them and they will need to make their own arrangement at their own cost.

5. It shall be aware that no refund of bus fee paid will be made for the situations described in (1) to (4).

6. School bus services will be provided for students to leave the school as soon as possible during adverseweathers such as typhoon no. 8 after the students had arrived the school.

7. The students shall follow all the safety rules set out by Wah Kee. Any students should fail to comply with the safety rules might not be allowed to ride on the school bus, and the associated bus fee will not be refunded.

8. Wah Kee reserves the right for revision of bus routes, pick-up/drop-off times and school buses of different capacities at all time during the service period, and the said revisions shall not form the reasons for refund of paid bus fees.

BUS SAFETY RULES

1. When waiting for the bus, students must stay away from traffic and avoid roughhousing or other behavior that can lead to carelessness.

2. Students shall line up away from the street or road as the school bus approaches.

3. Students shall wait until the bus has stopped and the door opens before stepping onto the roadway.

4. After getting on the bus, the students must find a seat and sit down. Loud talking or making any noise can that would distract the bus driver is strictly prohibited.

5. Students must not put head, arms or hands out of the window.

6. Students must fasten the safety belts during the whole trip until the bus stop at their drop-off points.

7. Students must follow all the safety instructions given by the driver or the bus mother. Any students fail to follow the instructions will not be allowed to ride on the bus.

8. No eating or drinking is allowed on the bus.
